Pedestrian struck in hit-and-run

South San Francisco police are on the lookout for the driver of a van or pickup truck who struck a pedestrian in the industrial area of the city Friday morning.

At approximately 5:40 a.m., a San Francisco resident was walking to work when she was struck at the intersection of Harbor Way and Utah Avenue, according to police.

The driver fled the scene and was last scene driving toward South Airport Boulevard. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
