Masked bandit

A woman reported hearing a noise in her kitchen and thought that it could be a raccoon entering the dog door on Valencia Drive in South San Francisco before 3:15 p.m. Sunday, Oct 20.

San Mateo

Burglary. A window was smashed on a 2004 gold Honda Accord on the 300 block of Hillsdale Mall before 7:47 p.m. Oct. 15.

Theft. A laptop was taken from an office on the first block of East Third Avenue before 5:13 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7.

Suspicious circumstances. Someone with a handgun and wearing a beanie and checkered black and gray jacket was pointing his gun at the freeway on the 2200 block of Bridgepointe Parkway before 5:56 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6.

Accident. A U-Haul truck towing an RV hit a lamp post and injured a man who disappeared when officers arrived on scene at the 2000 block of El Camino Real before 6:22 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3.

South San Francisco

Disturbance. Someone reported fruit being thrown at passing cars in front of a mobile home park at the intersection of Bayshore and Sister Cities Boulevards before 11:46 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22.

Hazardous condition. A large raccoon caused vehicles to swerve out of the way at the intersection of El Camino Real and Second Street before 6:46 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22.
