City government

• The Redwood City Planning Commission will consider adopting a mitigated negative declaration for a proposed 750,000 gallon replacement water tank in Emerald Hills and recommending the City Council approve the project at the corner of California and Tum Suden ways. An opposition petition with approximately 185 signatures has been submitted to the city. The Planning Commission meets 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 at City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City.
