August 26, 2013, 05:00 AM Bay City News Service

Caltrain reported that a southbound train broke down at the Millbrae station Saturday.

The brakes on train 448 caught on fire, but the fire was extinguished without any injuries, Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said.

Trains traveling through the area operated only on the northbound tracks, Dunn said.
