In South San Francisco, Parks and Recreation Commissioner William Bill Lock pulled papers for nomination to the City Council for one of the open three seats for the four year term.


San Carlos City Council candidate Cameron Johnson is holding a campaign kick off event 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 28 at Casa de Flores, 737 Walnut St., San Carlos. The free event includes refreshments and expected appearances by state Sen. Jerry Hill, and assembymen Rich Gordon and Kevin Mullin.
