Redwood City Planning Commissioner Ernie Schmidt is kicking off his campaign for City Council from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 19 at the Fox Theatre in Redwood City.

San Mateo Mayor David Lim is kicking off his re-election campaign this week to seek a second term on the council. The event is 2 p.m., Sunday, July 7 at El Sinaloense Restaurant, 1622 Palm Ave. State Sen. Jerry Hill, D-San Mateo, is scheduled to attend as well as many other supporters.
