There are many cities that have fun with their Fun Runs in the month of December. The Candy Cane Fun Run is held in Cypress, Texas. New York has the Reindeer Run in the town of Oswego and the Ugly Christmas Sweater 5K Run in Cortland. The Jingle Bell Run is held every December in Seattle, Wash., and The 12 K’s of Christmas is held annually in Gilbert, Ariz.

The official White House Christmas tree is in the oval-shaped Blue Room. It is a Douglas fir that is 18 1/2 feet high and 11 feet wide.
