San Mateo police searching for suspect on Edison Street, advise residents to stay indoors

San Mateo police officers are actively looking a known wanted person who fled into an apartment building at 2727 Edison St.

The subject was reportedly acting irrational and is possibly armed with a knife, according to police.

Residents near the building are advised to shelter in place and report anything suspicious in the area immediately by calling 911.
