Ambulance stolen, quickly recovered early this morning
December 30, 2013, 05:00 AM Bay City News Service

An ambulance that was responding to a medical call in Daly City early this morning was stolen and taken for a quick joy ride before it was recovered, a Daly City police sergeant said.

The ambulance was taken around 12:20 a.m. from the 500 block of Schwerin Street, Daly City police Sgt. Harold Rolfes said.

The ambulance was found a short time later about two blocks away, and was undamaged, Rolfes said.

No suspects are in custody in connection with the brief theft, he said.
