Burlingame routs San Mateo in 86th Little Big Game
November 16, 2013, 05:00 AM By Nathan Mollat Daily Journal

Burlingame, which led 14-0 at halftime, scored 28 points in the third quarter alone to bury San Mateo 48-0 in the 86th annual Little Big Game Saturday afternoon in San Mateo.

With the win, the Panthers finish the regular season with a perfect 10-0 record and will be a high seed in the Central Coast Section Division III playoffs beginning next week.

Burlingame racked up 414 yards of offense, while the Panthers defense held the Bearcats to just 119 yards of offense. San Mateo had 70 yards in the first half - most of which came against the Panthers' second-string defense on the Bearcats final drive of the game.

Burlingame's Keone Keahi scored three touchdowns - two rushing, one receiving - and finished with 101 yards of total offense.
