Repair Café

Bring your broken household items and work with repair volunteers to keep your favorite things working and out of scarce landfill. Repair Café doesn’t charge for repairs. If the purchase of repair parts is required, and they are available, you will be asked to pay for them. For convenience, ACE Hardware in Palo Alto is on hand to fetch small parts you may need. The event is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Museum of American Heritage, 351 Homer Ave. in Palo Alto. http://www.repaircafe-paloalto.org.
