PAMF wins award
October 28, 2008, 12:00 AM Daily Journal Staff Report

The Palo Alto Medical Foundation, a Sutter Health affiliate, has received the prestigious 2008 Sutter Health President’s Award for Best Overall Performance among Sutter’s medical foundations.

“This award reflects the collective dedication of the entire PAMF team to providing outstanding patient care and serving our community,” said David Druker, M.D., president and chief executive officer of PAMF, said in a press release. Sutter’s President’s Award is given each year to the top-performing medical foundation and hospital within Sutter Health in areas such as clinical quality, service excellence, community benefit and charity care and employee and physician satisfaction. The Palo Alto division of PAMF received the President’s Award three times previously.

“I am especially proud because it has been a year of phenomenal change for our organization as we’ve become one organization and integrated the physicians and services of the former Palo Alto Medical Clinic, Camino Medical Group and Santa Cruz Medical Foundation. We are on the right track as we work toward achieving our vision of providing high-quality, seamless health care for our patients from Watsonville to Dublin,” Druker said in the release.
