Here are some general guidelines for submitting advertising:
PDF (Portable Document File): A PDF is the preferred
format that we like to receive digital files.
(Make sure all fonts are embedded)
Adobe Illustrator EPS: An Adobe Illustrator EPS. (Level 2 Postscript, 200 dpi).
Hard copy: Hard copy is the term used for any material
that we can scan or set. (Original photos or 100% solid black on white are optimal (NO SCREENS PLEASE)
All electronic material supplied to the San Mateo Daily Journal from outside sources should be emailed to the individual account executive or ads@smdailyjournal.com
If clients or outside artists are unable to send material in the aforementioned formats, exceptions can be made. Feel free to contact your Account Executive with any questions. We’ll be happy to help.
